Physicals

Physicals are the one thing everybody remembers at the last minute, which is exactly why being open seven days a week matters. Superior Urgent Care handles every physical we have been asked for: kindergarten, school, sports, college, pre-employment, DOT and pre-operative. You do not need an appointment for any of them. Walk in on a Saturday afternoon before the Monday deadline and you will be seen. Our providers are certified family nurse practitioners caring for patients from pediatric through geriatric, so the same clinic that clears your seventh grader for football can handle your own pre-employment paperwork. Bring the form your school, league or employer gave you — we will fill it out while you are here rather than mailing it back later. We also place TB skin tests, which schools, nursing programs and employers often ask for alongside the physical itself, and both can be done in the same visit. We are in network with most insurance carriers and offer flexible self-pay options, and our medical assistants will tell you what a physical will cost you before you are seen.

What We Do for Each of These

School and Sports Physicals

Bring the form your school or league gave you and we will complete it while you are here, rather than mailing it back later. That matters most on the Saturday before a Monday deadline, which is when most of these actually happen.

Kindergarten Physicals

The school form and your child's immunization records can be handled in the same visit. Walk in any day we are open.

College Physicals

Health forms, immunization record review and the TB skin test many programs ask for, in one visit before you leave for campus.

Pre-Operative Physicals and Clearance

If your surgeon needs a pre-operative physical or clearance before a procedure, bring their paperwork and we will complete it, including any bloodwork they have asked for.

TB Skin Tests

We place TB skin tests (PPD) as a walk-in. You come back two to three days later so a provider can read it. Schools, nursing programs and employers often ask for one alongside a physical, and both can be done in the same visit.

How a Visit Works

  • Walk in, or save your spot — no appointment needed, seven days a week.
  • We check your coverage first — our medical assistants verify your insurance and explain your copay, coinsurance, deductible and out-of-pocket cost before you are seen.
  • You see a nurse practitioner — providers with extensive inpatient and outpatient experience, caring for patients from pediatric through geriatric.
  • Testing and follow-up stay with us — labs go to Quest Diagnostics, imaging is ordered at a nearby facility, and the results come back to the provider who saw you.
